CREATIVE WEALTH FOR ARTISTS
90 Minute Virtual Group Workshop

Creative Wealth is an invitation to release held patterns of scarcity in whatever forms they appear in your life––whether personal, creative, or financial. We’ll explore and tend to these patterns with somatic grounding, journaling / discussion, and somatic release with EFT/Tapping. We will also explore the kinds of beliefs that artists tend to circulate (such as the “starving artist”), looking holistically and systemically at the reasons why these beliefs exist in the first place, and how they impact us when unexamined. With these supports we can write new neural pathways and seed positive beliefs to support growth, change, and a capacity to hold more.

I’m offering this workshop not because I’ve figured it all out, but because I believe we all need to be doing whatever we can to encourage more resources to flow through loving, creative hands–often this is the hands of women and gender diverse folks.

WORKSHOP OUTLINE

A) Somatic Grounding
We’ll introduce ourselves and ground with some simple exercises.

B ) Astrological Overview
I’ll share an overview of the astrological transits at this time, and how we can use them to our benefit. We’re working with the themes of Aries, Cancer, Leo, and Pisces this month.

C) Journaling and Discussion
We’ll explore common beliefs, habits, feelings, and fears that artists tend to carry.

C) Somatic Integration with EFT/Tapping
I will guide us to move out of the intellectual realm and into our hearts, bodies, and nervous systems. Tapping uses gentle stimulation of the meridian system (as used in Chinese Medicine) to move the nervous system from sympathetic to parasympathetic, building new neural pathways, beliefs, and often landing us in a expanded sense of possibility, ease, and choice. I will lead this either in the form of a group practice that everyone can benefit from or, if time / group size allows, I will offer short individual sessions to each person.

D) Aligned Action
How can we generate more wealth to flow through loving hands? How can we believe in and nurture our creative capacity to generate resources that can support and nourish our communities? We’ll briefly share a few actions or steps we could implement, or perhaps just a new way of being or thinking, that we’d like to carry forward.
