SONGWRITING MENTORSHIP
Over the years, I’ve worked with dozens of songwriters to connect with their intuition, drop into their hearts, and create resonant work that is alive, aligned, and inspired.
I come to this place as a writer, deep feeler, and intuitive soul — yet I also bring two decades of experience writing, releasing, and performing my own music; a thorough understanding of harmony and theory (plus vocal expression, strong piano foundation, and self-taught fingerstyle guitar); plus an approach with humor and lightness. :) I’ve faced plenty of so-called “blocks” and challenges throughout my own career, so I have the insight and understanding to support you through yours.
I work with writers at all stages (from emerging to very experienced). Whether you want to focus solely on the writing process and your creative expression or also need guidance around recording and releasing your work, I can offer my insights from staying the course on this path.
I value a writer’s relationship to their heart, body, and voice, and will guide you to lean on your unique personal wisdom, intuition, voice, and vision. I can also guide you on the practical elements—structure, form, creative and emotionally resonant lyric writing, melody, innovation, experimentation, rhythmic elements, and more. I believe songwriting is personal, exciting, sometimes mysterious, and ultimately a path of deep personal growth.
My hope is for you is to create a body of work that you can be proud of, that inspires you and is connected to your voice—whether that’s a few pieces, a complete album, or even more.
I believe the satisfaction that comes from our self-expression is unparalleled, and something we all need more of in our lives. I don’t follow a specific system or playbook so each mentorship is individually tailored to your goals, dreams, curiosities, sonic interests, and learning style.
through this mentorship I also provide emotional support in releasing fears, anxiety, and challenges that may present for you, bringing in a somatic healing element through EFT/Tapping.

EFT/Tapping is a gentle way to regulate the nervous system by stimulating the meridian system and verbally processing what is present for you. this session is a somatic session to help soothe and release any creative challenges that may be arising — I see it as an important emotional support to you during your writing process that will help you ground during any challenging or confronting moments.
