EFT/TAPPING SESSIONS
FOR SOMATIC HEALING

EFT / Tapping is a powerful way to heal and regulate the nervous system, opening space in your body, mind, and heart for a greater sense of calm, possibility, and expansion. EFT can be used for all kinds of things–some of my faovrites are shifting subconscious beliefs and blocks, unresolved feelings or experiences, and physical tension or health issues that may have an emotional component. It is quite versatile and can be applied to almost any issue. I recommend multiple sessions (at least three, and up to ten) to see the most benefit, but even just one session can be quite powerful. I use a traditional EFT framework, so even if you’ve tried it from a YouTube channel, an app, or on you own, it can be really eye opening to try a session with a trained practitioner and see whether it feels any different. I’m excited to share it with you and hold space for you, no matter what’s present or where you find yourself just now.

EFT/tapping FAQ

What is EFT?

• EFT is a gentle, somatic healing tool used to release stuck emotions, beliefs, experiences, and tension
• it involves gently tapping through a series of meridian points on the body
• during our session, we are working on building new neural pathways
• regulates the amygdala and the fight / flight / freeze response
• introduces new, positive beliefs and reframing

Q: Is EFT safe for me?

Yes, EFT is really safe and typically quite gentle, though it can bring up strong emotions - most people feel a sense of emotional relief, expansion or peace after a session. If you have a mental health diagnosis or are working through traumatic experiences, it’s recommended that you have a traditional therapist and / or other professional support in place, so that the EFT practitioner is not your primary support in these experiences.

Q: Can I just do it myself?

Yes. :) EFT is a self healing tool, however it can be really helpful to be guided by a trained practitioner. That way, you can fully relax into the session without having to think through what to say or do. I have found that doing EFT with a practitioner allowed me to go deeper in the session and find benefits that I was not finding on my own. It also allows us to drill down and get specific, whereas any tapping scripts / videos that you might find online can be helpful to a point but are limited in what they offer as they are quite general.

Q: What will a session be like?

You will follow along with me as I guide you through the session. People tend to experience a sense of peace, calm, relief and/or expansion. Especially when a long standing issue begins to resolve or a thought pattern shifts, even just for a moment, it can give a sense of calm to the nervous system and a sense of expanded possibility. This is neuroplasticity at work! While it’s important to remember that some issues are complex and involve many layers (ie. take more time), you can almost always expect a perspective shift, as your nervous system will tend to experience the issue or experience as less “charged.”
